Tears Of A Man

Contributed by sweetpeall on Thursday, 22nd January 2004 @ 03:57:06 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Have you ever sat and wondered why
a boy was taught never to cry
to see a tear fall from his eye
they say is weakness
but I'll deny
the fact of this is so unfair
because its right for boys to care
for when he grows to be a man
a woman needs a gentle hand
she'll help him when he is down
and wipe away the tears and frown
this does not make him less a man
it only means to love
he can

I also 100% totally agree on this one
i find it vey difficult to cry and think that i shouldnt, not because its a weakness but because i dont think others around me would accept me crying, i always feel in times of hardship for friends and family and myself alike i've got to be the strong one so they have someone to cry to, i always want to cry but just dont, but there is always a plus side i am writing some good poetry as a responce to bottling up my emotions for years.

This poem was amazing by far one of my most favorite on this site, everything about it sings to me

keep up the touching and magnificent writes
