Towering trees become fragile, coated with ice
The forest floor appears alive with the scurrying of mice
And this blanket we call sky is falling down
Every piece of it connects to whiten the ground
It feels like all is in slow motion and its raining
As if I'm part of a masterpiece that God is painting
The canvas is this minute rock we live on
And it doesn't take long before the paint is dried and gone
This season is so majestic the trees even bow
Not to mention its ability to numb, I'm going in now
