Life unforgiving,
The world, a lonely place,
I know the pain
I see in your face

Scarred by their lies,
I’m not those that came before,
See the truth in my eyes.
You needn’t hurt anymore.

I know it’s hard to trust,
Open up to someone new,
But baby, you’re not alone,
I’m scared too.
