My brain becomes pulverized
Not really sure on what to think
I know one thing I want
I want to give this a shot
I am going to try and see where this goes
I care about you
And what you have been and are now going through
I am not going to run
I want to stay
I want you to know that I am here for you
No matter where our paths take us, together or parting
You listen to my stories and I listen to yours
I have many reasons to run
But I’m not going to
Even though sometimes I want to
I would never do that to you
I know that it is going to be difficult
But I still want to try
I said I fell in love
When I fell, I fell hard
I knew this would happen
But promise that you will give me the benefit of the doubt -
Like I am doing with you
