I could paint a picture of it in every hue

Contributed by JenimaeMalinaHaloisi on Tuesday, 20th January 2004 @ 05:36:22 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Oh how I could write forever of my love for you
I could paint a picture of it in every hue
But no words can express
And paintings can only take a guess
Of the true depth and height
Of the love that arises when you are in sight
My love is deeper than the deepest black of night
It is taller than any mountaintop in sight
It is longer than any rhyme
nd will go on past the end of time
I hate it more than anything when you are gone
Because even one day feels so long
Your brilliant smiles brighten even the darkest of skies
And you have stars for eyes
I hope you know that each day I sing
Because of the joy you to me bring
Each time a breeze comes in
Your scent is in its gentle wind
My eyes bleed when you leave
For my happiness I cannot retrieve
Until I see your face and hear your voice
I have no life without you I have no choice
