All We Hear is the Words

Topic: oops

i hear the words
see the sounds
sense the pain
feel the trouble
how long must it last
when all you hear is the words
listening can lead to thinking
pondering what is wrong and what is right
the riches can be broken
hearts can be stolen
why must it be that all you hear is the words
you cant feel the trouble
cant sense the pain
seeing will never be believing
believing will always lead to seeing
faith brought you hear
faith shall lead us there
thinking helps listening
listening involves thinking
never break this circle
or again one day you will be cold
loving takes feeling
pain makes love
love breaks the pain
love breaks the heart
it shouldnt be all you hear is the words
words have no meaning
unless you feel the other part
understand just the half of it
love without a broken heart
live without fear
listen not only to the words.

Sometimes its so hard to not listen to the words. I thought this was a really strong, expressive write and my favorite so far. Kie
