ONE LAST KISS

Contributed by Kittie on Tuesday, 20th January 2004 @ 06:04:25 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Let me sink
Into the dark abyss
So you do not have to see my ashen face
I did not mean to bring you pain with my own death
I thought you didn't really care
Now I see the pain in your eyes
As you stare at my lifeless body
Surrounded by blood
The knife at my side
Close to the two open wounds
At my wrists
You knew about the mutilation
You tried to stop it
I never knew you really cared
But now I know
And it's too late
Maybe I will see you again soon
Maybe I won't
We will be together again someday
Sometime
I will not doubt then
The pain will never have been there
But now you must let me go
Let me go
For it is hard enough to say goodbye
I'm sorry
I didn't know you really loved me
I always loved you
You placed your hand on my chest
And your face to my mouth
To check one last time
You give me one last kiss
And when your lips touch mine
I had just enough in me to kiss you back
To let you know I did care
And to let you know that now I know you do
My spirit leaves my body
And I whisper in your ear
We will be together again I promise
A tear runs down your cheek
And I can bear to stay no longer
Goodbye My love
Goodbye

read these lines gave me goosebumps, a very sad and touching story.... you know, that is the problem with suicide- if the person doesn't cares, your life is waste for nothing; and if the person does care, then everything will be too late..... so I would say, the people whom consider suicide, should think it over again, do it really worth it??
