The darkness was a fortress
The shadows a coven
The words we spoke only made times harder
And writing by candlelight proved frustrating
One was never sure which way to go
The fight was hard
The war had just began
The first battle a thing of the past
History or not
It shall not be forgotten
Bats flying overhead
To my left a goblin
To my right a troll
The ghouls came up the stairs
Only to kill
Too many already lost
The war cannot be won
What I feared is true
We are all becoming.
