you came into my life,
in the middle of hard times,
its kinda funny,
first thing you did was get me drunk,
there was the problem,
i have this habit of talking to much,
you payed attention,
showed interest in my words,
threw all opinions away,
and listened to my hurt,
you laughed at my jokes,
you understood my stupidity,
and you didn't mind that i smoked,
bout' two months later i decided i wanted to talk,
called you up,
we went for a walk,
found that together,
happiness is possible,
unstoppable heart beat,
when you finally grabbed my hand,
and i can think of nothing now,
but being your man,
even though we still just talking and such,
its the way that you look at me,
that makes me warm so much,
late nights on the phone,
spending evenings on the bench,
talking bout' nothing,
but im loving the hints,
you told me the other night out of nowhere,
at all,
that you liked me like that,
i wanted to fall,
i wanted to faint,
my hearts never been this warm,
most of my life,
this mans been torn,
but since you stepped in,
the smile hasn't left,
and i was kind of wondering,
if you wanted to take it to the next step?
