Imagine
Daybreak
Webbed through the room
Us, spooned
In a queen size bed
Your breath
Upon my neck
The quiet of morning
Light pouring in
A stirring, a ripple
Under the sheets
Our skin
Warm from the heat
Of each other
Under the covers
Where we sleep
Curled and silent
As first whispers of day
Gently nudge us
You pull me closer
With your subconscious
Into your breathing
Into sunup
And the beginnings of
Knowing love

Great poem! You capture youself a fan here! ^_^ I find most of your poems always end with a wonderful punch lines, so is this one-
' You pull me closer
With your subconscious
Into your breathing
Into sunup
And the beginnings of
Knowing love'

This reminds me of Romeo and Juliet--
"Look, love, what envious streaks
do lace the severing sky"
(atleast I think that's how it goes....lol)
That whole conversation..... just reminds me of that......
Beautiful...... as usual =)
Love,
Ellen
