Looking up at the stars
Remind me of all the scars
Left in my heart and mind
Months passed as you left me behind
Now afraid to look up and gaze
Seeing your face leaving me in a daze
Now I'm here without you
The stars dont seem so bright
I'm deep in a hole feeling blue
Fighting the tears with all my might
Holding onto everything I once knew
Now I feel life isn't gripping so tight
I look up,the stars shinning bright
Like they did when i looked into your eyes
Why did it have to end that night?
Why do I only hear your cries?
The stars seem close
Now I'm looking down
I see you on your knees and now I know
I was the one that left........

This is full of emotion, painful and sad. Losing love is the worst misery i think, especially when we still want that person. Strong poem, enjoyed reading,

| Wow. I really enjoyed this one. It was very well written. It pulled me right in. The ending was unexpected and I think that made it even better. Good job. |
