Evil Vs. Evil: A War On Terrorism

Contributed by papajfat on Monday, 2nd September 2002 @ 06:25:38 AM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

(Highly respected for his years of experience and extensive knowledge of warfare and disipline. Can not even phathom a world without conflict. To him, innocent civilians are a mythological creature whom he will never meet).
THE GENERAL:
"Keep marching forward, men, no turning back,
Stay focused on the mission at hand, get ready for attack.
We're here today, to defend the fact,
If you ***** with us, we ***** right back."

(18-21 year old draftee from anywhere middle America. First time from home, where his high school diploma has not yet had the time to be hung on a wall. Identity stolen and creeds have been erased.)
THE SOLDIER:
"I represent, the few, the proud, the brave,
Ironically sent to die, by the same people I'm sent to save.
Independent thought prohibited, to routine I'm a slave,
It starts with mental breakdown, ends with digging my own grave."

And it's for nothing, Yes it's for nothing,
Hey, do the noble thing, man, give your life up for your country.

(Favorite pastimes include: television hypnosis, super sizing, violence, monster truck rallies, and the comfort and bliss of having the curtains pulled over their eyes to everything plaguing our nation).
MR. and MRS. AVERAGE AMERICAN:
"A country founded on freedom, turned to greed and power of will,
So there really is no freedom, because we can not pay the bill.
We despise the lies and deception, but don't tell us before you kill,
Important decisions must be made, but we all choose a sleeping pill."

So it's for nothing, we're all so trusting,
To line the silver pockets of those who run our country.

(The richest and most powerful people in the country, and throughout the world. They make decisions everyday affecting millions of lives, and you can rest assure that they do not have your intrests at heart. These people have NO SOUL, molding society in their image of NO CONSCIENCE, and opperate solely with only one motto in mind NO MERCY).
THE CORPORATIONS:
"We know some innocent people died, foreign horror has reached our shores,
But please citizens let's not forget the only reason you were born.
Consumerism is your only focus, don't be distracted by the war,
With prices dropping like jumbo jets, to miss this sale, you can't afford."

And it's disgusting, morale is plummeting,
And everybody's cashing in on the tradgedy of our country.

(Hiding, Plotting, Laughing. Over confident at the moment, believing to see light at the end of the tunnel. Wondering how those stupid Americans plan to completely rid the world of terrorists and still have a population left to protect from terrorism).
THE ENEMY:
"Your people we've killed, whose names widely revealed, engraved on plaques and placed on a shelf,
Is only a fraction, a major subtraction, of the number you've killed by yourself.
And so our convictions, create tradgic conflictions, like anthrax endangering your health,
We simply wish you to die, switch this plane to auto-fly, sell our stock and rake in the wealth."

While we do nothing, our fight is rusting,
A sticker in your window will do nothing for our country.

This is a good piece papaj... and the message is so true. If only the few like us could get the world to open it's eyes and put the valium down, maybe we could make a difference. It pains me to see these patriotic killers dancing for blood, while the millions of children we've killed look down from heaven with teary eyes. Bless you and fight the good fight!
