Standing here so tall and proud saying,
I love You,
outloud.
Never thought life could be so good,
like it really should.
Maybe this story's old
but to me
it's solid gold.
Inside these hands tough
worn from sand,
A gift I bring,
altho I can't sing.
Beating loudly next to you,
my heart,
used but true.
Inside these hands,
inside these hands.
Take this heart
if you will,
worn,
tattered, beating still.
See the love revived again.
Let's be lovers,
life and friends.
Beating our love so strong.
Here's my heart ,
your very own.
