A Hopeful Cry
'Twas a beautiful night,
Was a beautiful day,
Was a beautiful feeling
An evening last May.
And do you remember,
The look in my eyes?
The feeling of glory,
Deep here inside. . .
'Twas the look in your eyes,
Was the smile on your face,
Was the feeling of passion,
Your movements with grace. . .
You said things were "Perfect",
And I thought so too,
Is that why it happened?
That I fell for you?
Twas a beautiful day,
Was a beautiful night,
You know that I love you?
And that it feels right. . .
