verse 1

I wanted passion
In the night,
I wanted loves,
Romantic light,
To guide me on,
And through, my life
I wanted you, to keep
Tonight.

Verse 2

But I see now,
That you are free
To be with her,
And not, with me,
So in the face,
Of misery,
I'll dance alone,
Upon the sea.

Chorus

This sea of love,
The waves of temptation,
Lap upon a crystal shore
Of lost contemplation.
