You don’t understand; can’t comprehend, the feelings are real.
They are strong and they are all for you.
Sometimes I’m mad because it feels like you hurt me, yet you really didn’t.
And when I see you, all my fears fly away.
My madness disappears and you can always make me laugh.
I enjoy every waking moment that I see you.
You mean so much to me; you’ll never know.
Some days there’s this thing inside me that says I should be mad the whole day,
And sometimes I that out on you and I’m sorry.
I now realize that whenever I’m with you, I’m happy.
You understand me like no other person.
I was hurt before and thought I’d never love again,
But then you came along and it all changed.
My heart slowly started to mend and is still mending.
I love you, but I don’t think you know.
I wish you did do this would be easier.
The point just doesn’t seem to be coming across clearly.
So here it is, the truth that should be plain to see:
I LOVE YOU!!

Often times we take friendship for granted and we never tell the person who is a true friend what they mean to us. I thought it was deeply touching that you wrote these heartfelt words. No one is perfect and you see that in yourself. I think you sound like a great friend. Hope you two continue and may it grow on and on.
