I won the battle

For a short time now
I felt confused
About a particular situation
That I found myself in
My mom was falling in love
With the wrong man
I hated him so
But didn't know why
I wanted him gone
And very far away
But I have faught a battle
I'm so proud of myself
He ain't coming back
No matter how hard he tries
'Cause I faught a battle
For a really long time
And now I know the truth
"Cause when I faught that battle
I got my a** beaten
But I never gave up
On what I believed in
I won the battle
Hell yeah!
He ain't coming back
I got my momma and sis
To take care of
And they ain't no one
Who's gonna come between us
