Oh' Lone Soul, Dare you Dream

Contributed by Valerie_Pearson on Saturday, 17th January 2004 @ 07:09:04 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Bare branches, the black crow is perched,
a lone soul wanders, no shadow to follow,
gazing into space without eyes,
the smell of death, lingering,
bliss approached, but thy has not gone,
wasting away within sunrise and sunset,
Oh' lonely cry, dare you dream,
wandering ...... , wandering ..... ,
Dark velvet midnight sky,
the moon cast ..... emerald green,
thristing for blood, wolves prowl,
Oh' lone soul, dare you dream,
thy has left hungry,
only to return a lost soul,
thy burnt body ...... coffin ..... urn,
ashes ....., ashes ......, fly onto crust earth,
grey and charred,
wandering not thru time,
only within lost hours,
and on the sill lies the two last raindrops,
or are they ?
Dare you dream?
