Grief

Never did she know a heart
could feel such pain
until that very moment in time
not to erase but remain
hearing every words every mother should hear
sending emotions racing, griped with fear
where does she turn
there seems nowhere to go
praying with all her might
the words spoken arn't so
tears stream down her face
as she holds her baby tight
thinking this can't be true
a mistake, possibility an oversight
blocking the words, she doesn't hear a sound
forever by love, she and her baby are bound
feeling so small in a world
created by only words wanting to take flight
like that of flocking birds
this unknown pain has now consumed
her heart
all at once, part by part
dealing with this unknown pain is new to her
leaving her no choice but to face and endure
one day this will only be a memory
to reflect upon
knowing from deep within
her strength can be drawn

Very good write. Just this part....
'hearing every words every mother should hear'
'hearing words no mother should ever hear'
Just my opinion... I liked it alot. It was very sad though. |
