GODS' SPECIAL CHILDREN

Gods’ special children,
Were put here to preach
To you and to me.
These special children,
May not be what society
Wants them to be.
While some may scoff,
Or some may laugh,
Or even turn their face.
Gods’ special children,
Have a special place.

Now these special children,
May not be able to
Run, or play or sing.
But these special children,
Are here because God
Wants them to be.
But there is one thing,
That through them God
Is trying to say.
If I can guide the sparrow,
I can also take care of them.
And if you just trust me,
You’ll get a blessing from them.

We are all Gods’ children.
He wants us to rely
Completely on Him.
So he sent us these children,
So innocent , loving and
Not prone to sin.
Now if you’d only hold one,
Then he will teach
A lesson to you.
Gods’ special children,
Have a special heart too!

Thanks for such a tribute to our children, I have a son with autism, and he is the most wonderful joy if only other's would understand.

While every care is taken to ensure the general sites content is family safe, our moderators cannot be in all places; all the time. Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. Â©
