Beyond me
My dreams,
Perfect
Water-colored
Lavender scented
Where,
I can taste love,
As real as touch
And know you,
As well as myself.
Near me;
My Awakening,
A fragile paradise
Strewn with weeds
Dark gray,
Midnight moon
Where,
I know sorrow
Like comfort;
My familliar place.
In between
Day and night;
Dusk,
Not quite twilight,
Where I am
Not wicked,
Nor heavenly saint,
But I am as quiet
As a book
And as wise
As a grave...
