Tatoo'ed Teardrop

Grief
|
Lost within these shadows,
stumbling upon stones,
reaching for emotions,
yet I'm left standing here alone,
On my cheek a tatoo'ed teardrop,
been there since she's been gone,
Morning has just broken,
a new day for me to breath,
I swore I wouldn't cry,
but my heart still knows to grieve,
She left three years a passin'
coldest day I knew,
crying out to hold her,
If others only knew,
This pain sometimes, exhausting,
I try to hide away,
my breath slowly leaving me,
the day she flew away,
I wish I knew an ending,
to this beautiful soul's young life,
but this pains become an aching,
I'll yearn for all my life,
I try to shed a smile,
to others that pass by,
but hapiness all ended,
when in life, I lose a child !

Aww... Val, I'd be crying right now if I wasn't so stubborn... *sniffs* Sometimes loosing someone that you love is hard, and you should never try to hold in your emotions... especially if it's one of your children.
This was really good... you're an amazing writer.
Blessed Be,
Mars |

Dear Valerie, the greatest pain would be losing your child ... these words touched me so deeply, I can feel your loss so much ... the title is perfect - always a tear, never to fade ... hugs Jan |
