gone forever
gone for good
you passed away
as we knew that you would
and it hurts, how it hurts
it hurts to see adults cry
and when we found out
not one eye was dry
the girls and their innocense
they say you're up in the sky
i stop and i know
you were ready to die
you told dad
that you waited
to see heaven
breath baited
we think and we smile
we remember your mirth
and i thank God above
for our angel on earth

Hi, If your grampa was married to a Martha and had a son Dan. Please contact me. I have some pictures from 1945 of a Danny Messler as a 1 year old with parents Bill and Martha. These photos were found in an album from the estate of Aj and Chuck Lewis |
