Thank you Lord and Jesus too
For sending me a love though the moments I had with him were few
He has a journey of his own now as I do mine
But for him my heart shall wait to the end of time
This pains me much but I see
That this was the path meant for me
To love one who is a good friend to me and no more
Though from the crying my eyes are sore
I know I must wait and I will
And though the time may be long I will love him still
You are trying to make me see
What needs fixing inside of me
So that I can be stronger
And wait for him just a little longer

Hold on to hope. Love, true love, is worth waiting for. To be loved, and to love, are the two greatest things human beings can experience.
