Exit

Contributed by Adreana on Sunday, 1st September 2002 @ 05:36:21 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

So I broke the deal
I tied my hands behind my back
Yes, my own hands
And I'm sorry but it's done

The fumes you throw toward me
Are choking me, suffocating me
Just help me with this noose
I can't end this by myself

Happiness next exit
To get off here
Or not to get off here
That is the question

Purple stars beaming here all around
Diamond colored moon nowhere to be found
Part these pewter clouds to free me
Hide the thick blue waters from my view

Happiness next exit
To get off here
Or not to get off here
That is the question

The strobe lights hurt my fading eyes
But I can still see you face as clear as day
Just hold me closer now and forever
Tell me it'll all be over soon

Happiness next exit
To get off here
Or not to get off here
That is the question

Just le me breathe
Just for a moment
Let me breathe
Till my air is gone.
