My Crimson Dreams

Contributed by frayedends on Thursday, 15th January 2004 @ 01:02:33 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Spilling down my crimson dreams
sitting down silently--mind wandering,
make no mistake as my thoughts,
flying like butterflies, suck the warm nector
leaving me anaemic--senses weaken
too indolent to wipe clean the stains.
And then a face,a memory trace
a sudden lightning dispells the darkness
and the momentary flash shows me
the dream more beautiful than reality
as your prescence--like an alchemist
turm my crimson dreams to roses
and i smile like as i smell your scent
do i look like a happy child?
Hide me in your soothing warmth
melting my icebergs and the frozen butterflies
fly away--leaving me in peace.
and in this peace, i close my eyes
I will wake up again,i hope
hanging onto your faith in me
and my crimson dreams
