This Man's pain

Contributed by The_Phantom on Sunday, 1st September 2002 @ 05:34:28 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

This man's pain,
Is enough to drive a nomal man insane,
The taste of love, signs from above,
The names on the gate, my destiny, my fate,

It was here one minute, and gone the next, though it seems,
I can still see and feel you in my dreams,
The bed is cold, I have no one to hold,
How could I be so blind, your leaving replays in my mind,

The cries for attention, add to this addiction,
You can't be gone, where did I go wrong,
Your gone forever, my soul is severed,
The tears fall like rain, with only me to blame,

I want to look into your eyes, and see the sun raise,
I want to taste your kiss, let me reminisce,
I want to rewrite it all, and stop us from this fall,
I want it back, and think before I react,

I'm at a total loss, allow me to pause,
Gather my thoughts, and discover my faults,
Rewind my life, and make you my wife,
But it's too late now, a single heartbeat the only sound.

Forever Faithful
The Phantom

The pain is quite clear in this write and how we seem to hold some love for someone we wished for or wanted to be with... or lost...
Sad, but lovely write... the heart holds true,e ven when you have a mate now, that is just so true. The lost loves never really go away. Always, Amber Rose :)
