We climbed far to high for redemption
Your smile captured my eyes and stole them from me
We would celebrate and dance upon the clouds
Close my mouth, not to spoil you with words
These days continue with things we can never change
I long to come to you at last
Feeling upon the wall for direction
You shined into my life with light
Fixed these broken hinges with compassion and correction...
You can open me up and look inside my mind...
