To a_bear

Hey a_bear
I think your poem speaks volumes
Your message is clear I can see
You read, so why don't you comment?
C'mon people, how hard can it be?
I admit that I have been guilty
Of not leaving a comment or two
But that was at the beginning
When I was really quite new
But now as people leave ME comments
I feel the buzz and adrenaline rush
That someone was impressed by my poem
It's a thoughtful and encouraging touch
It gives me a boost, makes me feel good
Makes me want to keep on writing
So as long as it's genuine and constructive
It's a rule that we shouldn't be fighting
So let's all start trying a bit harder
It's really not that much bother
Treat those how we'd like to be treated
And start chatting and interacting with each other.

Yes Agree! I'm sort of new here but the comment thing is a bit of a problem. |I liked your ideas! And you've written a good poem out of it too!

Anne :D let the comments flow!

You've brought out this response in me:

Your post here is quite entertaining!
I'm new, but I've heard the huffs.
I applaud your devotion
And second the motion.
Come on folks! Get off your duffs!

To be read is thrilling, I know.
But what good does 'It's good' really do?
If you post it for comment
You shouldn't get upset
If you're offered a critique of it too!

I think you're little ditty is terrific! I hope it gets read many, many, many times!!! Write on!

Judy

I obviously loved this poem. I'm getting a lot of comments on the other poems. Thanks so much. I'm doing a free style, a limerick, and a haiku...but I can't post yet. I feel like I'm involved in a rebellion LOL....FIGHT ON!!!!!!!

I'm a newbie and still a little nervous about reations to my poetry, so I love it when I get comments, as they inspire me to write more. I try to comment on all poems I read, or if I read lots by one user, I send them a private message. I think everyone should comment, as it really helps the poet, and gives us all a sense of belonging in our little community. I support the cause, well done
Love Dawny x

So true! do you know what gets me,? when people ask you to comment when they've posted for example 70 poems themselves and made about 10 comments on other peoples, i can understand if you read someones work and your not impressed maybe it's better to say nothing, but when they expect everyone to rally around on their behalf with no little or no effort on their part it makes me so angry grrrr!! oh! enjoyed your poem by the way!
