I get back from school,
And I'm all alone,
Until he decides,
To finally come home.
I see him once,
Maybe twice a week.
Always my face,
Does his fist seek.
I do nothing at all,
But smile at him.
My smile shines bright,
Through light that's dim.
But that doesn't stop him,
And he hits my face.
Calling me a "mistake",
And a "pathetic disgrace."
My blood trickles out,
And falls to the floor.
But that doesn't stop him,
And he hits me some more.
Where is my mom?
Where is my dad?
Where is the love,
That I never had?
My eye is swollen,
My lip is fat,
As he calls me,
A worthless brat.
He picks me up,
And throws me down,
Again my blood
Spatters, on the ground.
My long blonde hair
He spins 'round my neck
Until my breath is gone,
And I'm left a wreck.
My body goes limp,
And falls to the floor.
No longer the pain,
Do I feel anymore!
Finally its stopped
All the sadness and pain,
No longer my life,
Must I live in vain.

This is a great write, Spacey! It's important that you write this kind of stuff down and put it in the faces of all those with their eyes closed. I can't say I'm sorry for you, because we all have our own paths to walk... mine as ***** up and beaten as the next. But I can send you love and understanding... because while the stage is different, the act is quite well known to me and many others like us. I don't know how old you are or how recently you wrote this... but my advice is to get out any way that you can, and don't let the hate eat at your heart. It is a deadly thing... hate. Please read my poetry and songs for pieces on this topic, maybe it will help reading about someone else's trials. Maybe it won't. Again, my heart, thoughts, and prayers are with you always!!!! Remember that you can find strength in numbers... there are many out there who can help... all you have to do is ask. - much love, jason |
