I hate who I am

Contributed by Iesha on Wednesday, 14th January 2004 @ 12:49:59 PM in AEST
Topic: ApologyPoetry

You were always there for me
You took care of me when the alcohol took over
You comforted me though hard times

I love you with all my heart
but that doesn't forgive what I have done
I have betrayed you

He was there talking to me
Before I knew it we were liplocking
His lips curessed mine

My head kept screaming I needed to stop
But lust and want over took
I never thought I could be out of control

I remember muttering we should stop
Or lips seemed to never seperate
He wispered he loved me and made me tingle

I have been trying to keep this from you
I never want to tell you and hurt you
You deserve the best but I'm just like the rest

Now it seems like every day I want to die
I almost can't believe what I did
But I know my lust got the best of me

Please I beg with all my heart forgive me
I know you will hate me for so long
But let our friendship blossom through this hard time.

You are passing through a tough time... But maybe you don't have to "hate yourself", this will not erase what's done..Very touching poem, straightforward... Hope the continuation will be a happy one for your friend will be next to you again! God bless, Vanya
