Situation to hard to tell

I find myself in a situation too hard to tell,
A situation of tormenting pain, a situation of unknown hell,
I am unable to listen to my mind for I fear
What my mind will make me hear.
My skin holds what is inside of me,
Remove it and you will see,
My pain will tear me to pieces,
For my skin already holds the crumpled me.
The sea can’t find the shore,
My happiness looking for a core,
And the stars can’t find the sky,
I continue to ask myself inside; Where am I?
A face carries my heart,
Yet it is not plain to see,
But that face is the start,
To fill this emptiness inside of me!
It is a love lost, a new one to begin,
A love could save me again,
And stop me from caving in,
Where has this love been?
