Who Is Gonna Pardon Me?

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Who Is Gonna Pardon Me?

Maybe I should start to pray
Coz what if there's the God
Who can wipe out clouds of gray
That life has brought

Up there, above my head

I just lack the faith
Things seem so straight
I need to suffer
They're waiting for me

Deep beneath, under my feet

I feel weak when I fall
I feel like staying down
I know it doesn't help at all
I need a while to stand up from my knees
So, what may, just come
I don't believe in prophecies
After all I have done
Things can't get worse

At least that, please, Lord

I could feel the questions and pain in your poem. You expressed it really well.

This was exceptional. Damn good write. Very friggin good. I think I'm right there with you. I've been trying to convince myself life is grand and will only get worse if someone dies... Keep up this great writing. I loved this one. Perfect!

We all have times in life when we feel like there's no hope, like we've hit the bottom, yet God is there, and He will give us a hand to lift us up. Maybe in a friend or in some other way. but God will be there.
Take care.
David
