As I lay me down to sleep,
I pray thee, Lord, don't make me weep.
You know what I need far better than I,
but I'll ask you this once and not be shy.
Please send me the one who is loyal and true
and takes time to know me, through and through.
Be sure that he laughs in spite of himself
and touches my heart above all else.
Give him eyes (any hue) that are loving and kind
and he'll see the same when he looks into mine.
He'll need to be patient and willing to share,
open and honest and always fair.
I know this might be a king-sized task,
but I want my best friend. Too much to ask?
I'll cherish this man now and forever,
my heart, my soul, my friend and lover.
Oh and Lord, with men, you know how it goes;
so this one thing would you be sure he knows?
That T and A are NOT the only female body parts!
There's also M and H (that's Mind and Heart).

Hey now. T&A can mean a few other things... Like uhhh... Tongue and arms... Err yeah. Good write. I'd say the challenge was well met. Hey if someone has no intelligence it won't last long. Besides all beauty is fleeting in time. |
