A father is someone you look up to,
a pillar of strength when you feel blue,
When you need them,they are there,
giving advice,because they care,
So to my Father on this special day,
theres only one thing I need to say,
I love you, for all youve done for me,
I wish you the best for eternity,
Your birthdays as special to me,
as it would be for you,you see,
because I know theres not many more to spend,
So I celebrate with love,my father, my friend,
For if it was'nt for you,being such a great dad,
I would'nt have all that I have had,
So from the bottom of my heart,I thank you,
for showing me in life all you went through,
caring enough to teach me right,
working late hours through the night,
just so we can have what we have today,
your the best Dad,and I'm proud to say,
The day you were born,is special to me,
I've cherished it since you held me on your knee,
All those years that passed us by,
remembering those days I start to cry,
because your getting older each year,
So each birthday I shead a tear!
