Somethings aren’t meant to go my way,
Like the promise from you to always stay,
Like the world that keeps moving on without me,
Somethings I’m not meant to anymore see;
Like the truth that was in your lies,
The way you’d look into my eyes.
The way you used to cherish my name.
Now I feel nothing will ever be the same.
Some feelings aren’t meant to return,
Like the feeling of love that used to burn.
Somethings are just meant to be broken,
Like bonds of trust and I love yous spoken.
Leaving me was something you had to do,
I’m trying to leave this behind now too.
My tears were confused to be the rain,
Your anger confused you that I was to blame.
Selfish thoughts once again invision in my head,
I stand empty as the last drop of my blood is bled.
Your broken promises meant the world to me,
This drug is now my world you see.
I drink it up as you walk your way,
This drug will not let me see another day.
I smile as this drug I hug as my cure,
Without anyone this world I could not endure.
I say farewell my friend as I fade,
It takes me slowly, to think of memories made.
My last breath was taken with the thought of you,
Then it was too late for my life to re-new.
