You , Me and Ecstasy

Contributed by Mouth on Monday, 12th January 2004 @ 10:50:12 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

These eyes I read,
Not like a page;
Not like a book.
Their depth is my unknown
They pull me inward
And I feel a closeness
Words would only undo..

Silence.
Your paradise in the palm of my hand.
Nothing between us but skin
And silence.
In this silence is spoken-
I am your secret,
You are my lie.

Such fragile bliss,
Like the uncertainty of things
Outside these walls.
Between them your paradise has flourished
Its splendor I know as well as your silence,
I know its every sin...

I wear your unsaid words on my skin,
I feel your silence burst into song as you taste me.
It is then I understand the depth left unexplored;
The reckless nature of your love..

You, me and ecstasy
Your paradise in the palm of my hand.
Nothing between us but secrets and lies.
Nothing between os but you and I.

Your eyes I read,
Not like a page;
Not like a book.
There depth is to my unknown.
And my skin has once again betrayed my heart,
Just as my ecstasy betrays another,
But my pain has never known such pleasure
