The night descends and wraps itself around me
Like a black satin slip.
My dreams of you are lavished with lace
As a gentle mist of longing
Rises and clings to me
Like soft, dampened silk.
A vision of your body comes to life
In the darkness
And I am wet, My Love, to the skin
In the steam-heat of wanting you.
My mind wraps around your image
As your presence injects me
With a fever
That leaves my body consumed.
The vapor of your skin is liquor
To my palate, and I am heady
With desire.
I long to feel your warm,
Velvet breathe against my face,
And see the lustrous sheen of moonlight
Reflecting off your skin.
You are the going out, and coming in
Of my every being, My Love,
Send my senses spiraling in the momentum
Of loving you.
