taste the fruits of your spoils
all the time and feeling i threw into you
i have lost my sense of ability
i'm surrounded by a sickness with nothing left to do
footsteps that will whisper
the thoughts that never could
these feelings that harden inside me
and those eyes that always would
sick of energy always wasted
the art of despair at it's best
you tragically relate to me
and you've forgotten all the rest
sick and lonely all the time
feeling it's time to take my breath
i'm ready to begin my life again
feeling it's time to take the step
bled myself months for you
and turned inside out again
i'm searching for an answer truly
looking for familiar skin
never thought to question your motives
yet my mind scanned each and every day
never finding answers
always finding a different way
this block of anger surrounds me
i'm waiting out my needs
i'll smile into forever someday
but for now my weakened heart bleeds
