Sweet Angel of Death
Waiting patiently at my door
My time draws near
I will exist no more
Please Angel be merciful
Of this I implore
My soul is waiting for you
On Angels wings to soar
My body lies here broken
Wrap me in your embrace
Why does this have to take so long?
I yearn to see God's face
Sweet Angel of Death, steal away with me
Lead the essence of me to grace
Let me find eternal peace in the Holiest of place.

Hello there.
I was looking for a poem of mine for my nephew and and got side tracked. I read one of my writes for my grandson and found your comment so here I am.
As you can see I've started reading from your beginning here. I don't this often but after reading your last write I knew it would be worth my time to read more.
so this write is awesome. It really takes out death's sting.
