You saw me through by baby years,
And helped me with my teenaged tears.
You always knew just what to say
When nothing seemed to go the right way.
You helped me through lots of stuff
And I never thanked you quite enough.
With this is mind I give to you
All my love from me to you.

Apart from one niggling typo (which I assume you'll rectify soon enough and render this point obsolete), I really liked this. Its simplicity enhances its lovely expression for a subject which is close to everyone's heart, and can readily identify with.
An encouraging first submission.
Thanks for sharing it. |
