Only Just a Game
I met you on the Internet
you told me your real name,
never did you realise
I was playing just a game.
You told me all your secrets
your deep desires too,
you told me that you loved me
though I had just met you.
Pictures which you sent me
I placed them in a file,
some where you were wearing
nothing but a smile.
Fingers on a keyboard
words upon a screen,
you said you felt you knew me
forever so it seemed.
We typed and typed
through out the night
until the break of day
and never did you realise
it was just a game I play.

I like the subject,
the poem is cruel and cold like techknowolgy with a cheeky edge, the rhythm and rhyme of this one work well, it made me laugh. |
