Love doesn’t mean forever
Tis a song, merely a rhyme
The most one can hope for
Is to walk through that door
At least once in a lifetime.
Love doesn’t mean forever
No matter what poets say
In the blink of an eye
There’s a new girl or guy
The old mem’ries gone away.
Love doesn’t mean forever
It wakes you up as you fall
Don’t fret for a minute
If you find yourself in it
It’s only love, after all!

A most intriging poem of love. I had never looked at love in this light before. Great piece top marks from bernard. |
