I see a tear behind her eye
trying hard not to cry
for this heart is broken so
and there is nowhere to go.
withering in a dried up garden
thirsting for love that isnt there
an end to once a grand beginning
falling into the hole of dark despair.
Running but her feet dont move
sinking but not to soon
faultering reaching for nothing there
looking for someone to just care.
Unaware of the things that matter
not seeing the beauty in dark clutter
wanting to bloom to be free
of the hurts haunting lare.
Lone some rose is what I see
for she reminds me now
once of me if I could make her see
the rose beneath that needs to be freed.

Very deep and tragic. Beautiful description and transfer of emotion. Very well done!
