She knows all about me
my fears and weaknesses
she knows what I'm going to say
before I even think about it
she knows how I'm feeling
and what I'm going through
she knows the only way to cheer me up
when no one else knows how
she knows I've been to the edge of sanity
and was there to bring me back
she knows that I'd be nowhere without her,
but I feel that I haven't told her enough
She says she knows I love her
but does she know how much?
She's seen me at the worst of times
and helped me through the bad
She makes the best of times even better
because she loves me so
Katie, you know I love you
and will be here for you till the end of time
My heart belongs to you forever

Very good write.
We all need someone to lean on.
Keep up the writing as it will be your best theraphy.
When i accidently picked up the pen it was one of my darkest days as my Mom was dieing with melanoma cancer. She use to write so I stumbled accross my destiny as a poet I told my Mom I'd take over where she left off. She was very pleased. That was in 1978, she passed in 1979 and the pen has got me thru the best of times but more so thru the worst of times. Needless to say I took the pen and rain with it.
Guess what I'm trying to say is that in my darkest hours my most beautifull writes came from me taking the pain and turning it into a work of art.
See, I live by the philosaphy that in everything bad there has to be something good. many times I've down to the bottom of the cesspool to find the little shred of good on the bottom.
All my poems use to be sad but then oneday I lloked around and the cesspool was gone then I found the positive side of life.
Hang in there and please keeep writing.
huggs, luv,
emy |
