HAPPY BIRTHDAY NORM

Contributed by Merry on Saturday, 10th January 2004 @ 04:57:53 PM in AEST
Topic: BirthdayPoems

i never would have guessed
he was a day over twenty one
Norm can write with all the best
now he's eighty two years young

Norm is welcome in the big chair
he can rhyme and he can reason
as we sit and ponder there
he can write about the season

I picture Norm in his younger years
a handsome fellow he was then
chasing ladies and drinking beers
that's what he did way back then

Norm is much more subtle now
he gets his two cents in
he shows them all and how
it's fun to be a senior citzen

I love your comments full of rhymes
they make me smile and feel good too
may your days be filled with lots of good times
cause Norm, you're a real good dude

Happy Birthday Norm
may the blessings of each day be the blessings you need most

What a blessing your poem is Mer.
It's so like you in every way, and when Norm gets to sit in your Big Chair....may I sit in it with you two...I can't stand the thought of not hearing what it is you're going to do? *smiles*

You touch me here, you touch me there
But do not touch your great big chair,
I'll sit not here, I'll sit not there,
Besides, I'm in my underwear...

Thank you, Merry I enjoyed,
Your BIG chair poem tho some annoyed,
We had great fun, that's what it's for,
I sure endorse somemore, somemore...
