Soldier Voják

SOLDIER
I was a soldier in a foreign country
I came to fight with enemies

I have never been scared
I had not known what was death

Right second day
We were passing the capital

Me and five other men
In our military vehicle

There were not many people in the streets
Scared they were hidden

The capital still was beautiful
Not yet by war destroyed

When suddenly above me
A weird sound I could hear

Then terrible blast
I covered my head with hands and dark

I do not know how long it took
I do not know, what occured

When I opened my eyes
In the dust swirling
My life has changed

Ruins, pieces of bodies
My friend saved me
His body covering me

The only I see, are angels
To heaven carrying dead souls

NO,I did not want this
So many dead ones I had never seen!!

I hear crying, running so fast
Someone survived, I am not only one alive

And I see – man with child
So many sores, so much blood

Does not matter he was enemy
Does not matter I was solder

I am human, I won´t let them die
I soothe the child, I mop his blood

How innocent, how small!
Why??? Why am I here so??

War is the punishment, for all of us
War does not solve, settlement is in us!

I lift them both up – father and child
Taking them away, where ruins aren´t around

My heart beating loud, teared off with sorrow
No, I am not soldier, it is not I

This was my first war
And also the last

That time we walked to seclusion
Today I live in „enemy“ area

Today all are my friends
I do not believe in segregace

Where people want to live, there is place
And nothing else matters

VOJÁK
Byl jsem vojákem v cizí zemi
Přišel jsem bojovat s nepřáteli

Nikdy jsem se nebál,
Co je smrt – tenkrát jsem neznal

Hned druhý den
Projížděli jsme městem

Já a vojáků pět ještě
Ve vojenském autě

Nebylo tu moc lidí v ulicích
Ze strachu zůstali schovaní

To město doposud bylo krásné
Krásné, válkou nedotčené

Když v ten moment nad hlavou
Divný zvuk jsem uslyšel

Pak strašný výbuch, zář
Rukama jsem si zakryl hlavu a tma

Nevím,jak dlouho to trvalo,
Nevím, co se celou dobu dělo

Když jsem otevřel oči,
V prachu vířícím,
můj život rázem se změnil

trosky, kusy lidských těl,
mě zachránil můj přítel
jeho tělo leželo na mým

podivné ticho, rozlézá se strach
je tu někdo živý? Zblázním se snad

jediné, co vidím, jsou andělé
odnášejí duše zemřelé

Ne, tohle jsem já nechtěl!
Tolik mrtvých ještě jsem neviděl!

Slyším nářek, utíkám,
Někdo přežil, nejsem živý sám

A vidím, muže s dítětem
Jsou samá rána, krev

Kašlu na to, že byl nepřítel,
Kašlu na to, že jsem vojákem

Jsem člověk, nenechám je zemřít
Ukonejším dítě, z něj chci krev setřít

Jak nevinné, jak maličké!
Proč??? Proč já tu jsem?

Válka je trest, pro všechny z nás
Válka neřeší, smír je v nás

Zvedám je oba, otce i dítě
Odvádím je pryč, kde nejsou jen sutě

Srdce mi tepe, rve jej žal
Ne, nejsem voják, to nejsem já

Tohle byla moje první válka
Byla i poslední

Tehdá jsme se dostali do ústraní
Dnes žiju na “nepřátelském“ území

Dnes všichni okolo jsou mí přátelé
Nevěřím na rozdělení

Kde lidé chtějí žít, tam místo jest
Na ničem jiném nezáleží

You have captured the futility of war so well here Aika.Maybe the world leaders need to read this and think about what you have written. Then maybe, just maybe, this pointless destruction could be averted.
