The deceiver of hearts
The cunning snake in the garden of Eden.
Eat my apple
Taste my sin
Heal my wounds
Inflict them again
Let my heart be my sacrifice
Because love is a fool's paradise...

I absolutely LOVE this! 'poison of pleasure' , 'deceiver of hearts' . Indeed! I think I would truly love to have read this before the edit. No doubt it was too adult for this site. Too bad. My loss. You have my vote anyway!

oh my gosh! I love this poem! How did you come up with such clever things to write??? "love is the poison of pleasure" thats sooo true! "cunning snake in the garden of Eden" again, true!! Oh! The whole poem is .... MAGNIFECENT!!! WONDERFUL JOB!
