I don't know what I'm feeling
It's far beyond my knowledge
My life has frozen beneath me
Like a lake under winter snow
He left me there to hang
To continue on without him
The ice swarming my heart
Feels it shall never get broken
Did i expect this awakening
This entrence into hell
Cause the loneliness in this room
Is as cold as his look I stole

The simplicity of the title did not prepare me for the pain and emotion I found in this piece. Again, you let the imagery take center stage, and again, you compose another work of somber beauty. I'm hooked.
Truly,
