IF TIME COULD BE ERASED
OR AT LEAST FORGOTTEN
I WOULD WIPE AWAY ALL THESE TEARS
THAT I’VE CRIED FOR YOU

IF TIME COULD BE ERASED
THERE WOULD BE NO NEED TO
THINK ABOUT YOU
TO WONDER WHY YOU’RE STILL PRESENT
IN MY BROKEN HEART

OVER AND OVER
CONVINCING MY SELF TO DRIFT AWAY
TO DRY THESE TEARS ONCE CRIED
YET IT IS BEYOND MY CONTROL
MY POWER IS WEAK

I ONCE WAS IN RESTRAIN
BEFORE YOUR PRESENCE STILL LINGERED
THOUGH NOT WANTED
I HAD IT ALL
I HAD CONTROL…

I DIDN’T FEEL THIS WAY
AND DIDN’T EVEN PONDER
OF WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE
TO FEEL THIS PAIN

NOW ALL I DO IS GO BACK AND FOURTH
ON THIS SUBJECT SO PROCLAIMED
WANTING IT TO GO AWAY
AND BE DONE

I WONDER, CIRCULATE ALL THE
WAYS TO DO AWAY
WITH ALL THIS RAIN THAT’S FALLEN
UPON ME AND CAUSED SO MUCH PAIN

ALL I’VE DONE IS TRY TO SUPRESS IT
ALTHOUGH IT BECOMES NO USE
THERE IS NO REMEDY FOR THIS NUISANCE

I TRY TO RESTRAIN MYSELF
FROM ALL THIS BOTHER
TRY TO BLOCK IT AWAY
PRETEND AS IT NEVER TOOK PLACE

BUT EVERYTHING SEEMS TO REMINISCENT
AS IF EVERYTHING WAS TO BE MY OPPENENT
THIS FEELING SO INTANGIBLE
NOT ABLE TO BE EXPLAINED

SOON THERES NOTHING LEFT
AND PITY IS WHAT I BECOME TO SELF
BECAUSE THERES NOTHING TO FEEL
AND NOTHING CAN BE HEALED

THE PAIN IS SEALED WITHIN ME
CONSCIOUS HAS IT PRESENT EVERY
STEP OF THE JOURNEY

LEADING TO MY FINAL DESIRE
THAT PERHAPS THIS PAIN WOULD BE NO LONGER
THAT MAYBE THIS PHASE CAN ERADICATE
